For Undergrad students entering their first semester at HU, our office will assist you with registering. After your first semester, you will be able to register yourself for courses.
The schedule for each semester, will be viewable one week before Registration opens. Its recommended you work with your Advisor and/or Student Success Coordinator on selecting your courses each semester to ensure you are on the correct path to meet your degree requirements.
You can also view your outstanding degree requirements on your Degree Audit on MyHU > Academics tab > Degree Audit Portlet.
Registering for Classes on MyHU
You can complete your registration by logging into MyHU under 'Current User Login' > Academics tab.
Proceed to the "Registration" section of the page. If registration just opened, you will see links to two forms that must be completed prior to registering: Financial Disclosure Agreement and Personal Information Update.
Please read and complete the forms.
You can then proceed back to the Registration box > Course Search.
When searching for classes, be sure to leave all search fields blank, in order to view all courses that are available to you based on your program of study. This is because some courses require an exact match. The only field that should be filled in is “term” which is automatically populated for your convenience.
Once you have selected the courses and added them to your schedule, they will move into what is considered “Reserved” status, pending your Academic Advisor’s approval. Your spot in the course cannot be taken while the course is in “Reserved” status.
